Recessed Graphics With Controlled Color Filling
Etching creates recessed text, logos, symbols or patterns in the metal surface. The recessed areas can then be filled with project-selected paint colors while the exposed metal receives the approved brushed, polished or plated appearance.
This construction is suitable for door signs, equipment plates, instruction panels, hotel and office identification, branded plaques and other applications that require clear permanent information.

Stainless Steel
304 or 316 stainless steel can be reviewed for brushed, polished, painted or plated project finishes.
Brass
Brass supports natural, brushed, polished, aged or protected decorative appearances subject to sample approval.
Aluminum
Lightweight aluminum plates can be painted, anodized or otherwise finished according to the approved specification.
Information Needed For Production Review
- Vector artwork with text converted to outlines
- Plate dimensions, metal thickness and quantity
- Etched areas clearly identified in the drawing
- Pantone, RAL or approved physical color reference
- Surface grain direction and exposed metal finish
- Hole positions, adhesive, studs or other mounting details
Line width, text size, etching depth and paint-fill method must be reviewed against the final artwork before production.
Etched Metal Sign Specifications
Production parameters are confirmed after artwork, finish samples and installation conditions are reviewed.
304/316 stainless steel, brass or aluminum; typical reference thickness is 0.5–3.0 mm depending on size and mounting.
Custom width, height, thickness, corner shape, holes and fixing positions according to the approved drawing.
Etching depth, minimum line width and paint system are confirmed from artwork, exposure and required visual result.
PVD or electroplated color, gloss level and sample standard are confirmed before production when a plated finish is specified.
Project-based. Samples and small-batch requirements may be reviewed before production quantity is confirmed.
Protective film and individual separation with export carton or plywood case selected for the surface finish and shipment.
Color tolerance, metal grain, etching detail, coating system, adhesive and mounting method must be recorded in the approved order specification.
