Clean Fabrication and a Fine Mirror Finish
DA Smart Home required a precise, refined storefront sign with clean fabrication details and a consistent reflective gold surface. Because the letters would span a wide retail fascia, their finish and lighting needed to read as one coordinated set.
The 3500K color temperature was selected to produce a warm halo behind the letters and complement the mirror titanium-gold surface.
The Main Challenge: Mirror Polishing
Mirror finishes make fine scratches, polishing marks and surface inconsistencies especially visible. The main manufacturing challenge was therefore the grinding and mirror-polishing work required before the titanium-gold electroplating process.
Particular attention was given to visible faces, returns, welded areas, edges and corners. The prepared 304 stainless steel surfaces were inspected before plating so that the finished letters would present a consistent appearance across the set.
Why 304 Stainless Steel?
For this project, 304 stainless steel provided a stable fabricated structure and a suitable base for polishing and decorative plating. Material grade, thickness and construction are confirmed separately for each new installation environment.
3500K Warm-White Halo Illumination
Each letter was produced with warm-white back illumination. The LEDs create a soft halo on the mounting surface while allowing the gold metal faces to remain the primary visual feature.
Before packing, the complete set was arranged and powered on in the workshop. The inspection covered lighting consistency, letter appearance, visible fabrication details and the overall balance of the 11-letter layout.
